A tumor was found in my mothers Colon. It was removed.  It was malignant. Next step is stress tests to see if she can handle a major surgery. I know I need to be strong for her, so I am hiding and crying away from her. I am so scared and frightened. My mother has always been my hero, my best friend. Its been just me and her against the world. Even as I write these words, I am again in tears. I can't seem to stop them. Please pray for my mother............. Thanks for listening... Alaska will always be the owner of my heart. California the owner of my lungs. I now live in Northern California, on one of the oldest and largest natural lakes in North America. So I guess my horizons have been small.  I am a single mother of a 13 year old. I also have two adult children. I am a college student at Mendocino College. My life in limbo for the moment. You just don't know when your world will change in a mere moment. Alpha-1 has drastically changed my life forever. In some ways debilitating and in others ways so enlightened and enriched.
