My name is Dannie Farmer.. born in austin, texas and moved to the bay area, cali wen i was 2.. graduated from milpitas high school (c/o 2003!) in milpitas,CA and went to san jose state for a year.. now i'm up in manila, Philippines trying to break into the music and modeling business.. i'm half filipino, 1/4 white 1/4 black.. music has always been a huge part of my life growing up.. wen i was around 5 yrs old michael jackson was "the man"..and i was crazy about him.lol.. wen his video was on i'd make everyone shut up and i would sit right in front of the tv set and turn the volume waaaaay up.. and if sum1 talked 2 me i got sooo pisssed. HE sparked my fire to start singing.. as i grew up, i became a music junky.. my dad introduced me to mo-town artists. my mom loved ballads.. my older sister was into hip-hop.. my cuzins loved artists like stevie b... so i was soaking it all in... i would imitate voices and started to really get serious about singing.... my dad made me sing to EVERYONE. but thanx dad! it did help... elementary skool flew by, acts like bobby brown,boys 2 men, ABC, jodeci, jon b, ginuwine, etc.. were big influences.. then in middle skool USHER got big.. i was impressed by him.i sang his songs in many shows in middle and high skool.. frends called me "wanna-be usher".. acts like r kelly, musiq, b2k, outkast, brian mcknight, etc. molded my musical mind 2.. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE was my 3rd major influence.. his style and voice really inspired me.. high skool ended.. usher, marques houston, omarion had albums.. i thought to myself.. i can do sumthing like this man!.. me and my crew "pstar" messed around with beats and flowing.. i sang of course.. and i just felt like i was empty.. especially after my 1st yr of college.. a vacation to the PHILIPPINES changed everything....... i sang 4 sum ppl.. they liked me.. i eventually moved here to record a demo.. the demo became an album.. i been here since june 2005 and finally im gonna be releasing my cd here in the philippines by late march! God is good i tell ya.. i hope to be successful so i can do this in the usa.. i miss all my frends bak home but theyre all supporting me.. i love ya'll!.. i'm doing this 4 u.. and to my parents.. i have no words to explain how much i love., respect and appreciate u 4 all ur help.. all u ppl reading this in the philippines.. pls support pinoy rnb.. its dead! im here to revive it!lol..
