I have never wear flat shoes when I go out. I have been wearing highheels since I am like...14. I normally wear three to six inch high heels...never broke anything. No complain with my feet, ankle, neck...:)

hi there vintage, how uv been? i love high heels whether w denims, slacks and dresses, it makes a woman walk more sexy w a certain swagger that reall looks attractive. during my younger years you would never see me in flats, but sadly now, imy feet could not tolerate as what euclide said, the pain that goes w it. i can still wear it but on shorter period of time not like before where i wear it the whole day, even run w it, lol..............anyway no pain, no gain aptly applies, don't u think?

Well said! The older I get, the more particular I have become about the shoes I wear. I insist to wear heels with a certain degree of quality. There's a price to pay for beauty :-)

Im more in flip flop in summer or in boots in winter with only 5 cms hells.. im a working girl, i see me not drive my car, run in job with so shoes.. ;)

This topic reminded me of my 6 years old daughter, she has been nagging me to buy her pair of high heels shoes..I told her she still too young to wear high heels shoes.. She still insisting to get her one pair..

they dont...get one for adult girls and then help her not so big though otherwise she will defenetly get hurt...help her out and when she sees that she cant walk you will see how the high heels fever dissapear... hehe

My little girl is just crazy about grown up woman stuff.. She wants to have all the things that her mum has such as high heels, make up, .. etc..
I tried to explain and make her understand that someday she will have everything her mum does but for now she is still a child and needs to enjoy her childhood..
She is very hardheaded ..

She does have few barbie houses, car, kitchen, many other things..

Get her some play heels made for little girls! They're loud and clanky on ceramic or tile floors, otherwise, it's not so bad :-)

I have one pair that I wore to a school Homecoming Dance many years ago. I am not sure why I have kept them, but I do still have them.

This is another fashion that I cannot understand.

Why is it that women go through all this pain to wear "Fashionable" clothing.

Corsets, high heels, are so damaging to their health, and I do not like the design of high heel shoes.

Do women actually feel COMFORTABLE wearing high heels? If they don't I wish they would NOT wear them. I always feel they PAIN they ought to be feeling in wearing them !

It is even worse when TALL women wear them? Why would they?

I simply could not be comfortable attending any kind of formal affair in flats. I personally could not feel dressed for the occasion without a pair of heels.

High heels are ugly and unhealthy. I think women are fools for wearing them.

no i dont they hurt too much!!!! sometimes i use them but just because i have too..otherwise my lovely companions are tennis shoes and flip flat's hehe
