I'm pissed that people were duped, some genuinely hurt, but...on the other hand....the plot was so well played and so many people were involved (5 of her myspace friends deleted their accounts on the same day or shortly thereafter), that the whole thing intrigues me. Nothing illegal was done: donations to be sent "in her memory" were going to a real charity, which I'm sure could use the money, so some good came out of it. I started searching the web for her and her friends to try to give closure to people, but now, I have to admit, it's like a great mystery I just have to solve. It was really quite brilliant.
Did you ever talk to her, Rob? Any light you can shed? Did she say she was from UK, a teacher at a university? dying of aplastic anemia? Any pieces you can offer to the puzzle would be appreciated. Very interesting story! ~ Rhonda

Your name and pictures were used for an elaborate MySpace scam. If you and your friends were just role playing, it was very mean-spirited not to let anyone else in on it. Many people who came to love "Silver" and mourned her death were emotionally damaged to find it was all a game. If you did not do this, you need to let us know that someone else stole your identity. If you did, you owe everyone an apology. Feelings are real, even if you are not.
